The sardines are prepared by hand according to the oldest method which dates back to 1804 (from the time of the “Penn Sardin”): they are first salted and then dried for 3 days before being put raw, by hand, in a verrine. They thus retain all their taste. They are not fried, which makes them more digestible.
The organic olive oil comes from a small mill in Navarre south of Pamplona. It is prepared with olives of the Empeltre variety.
Sardines, organic extra virgin olive oil, a pinch of salt, a few slices of organic lemon and that’s it!
No additives, no dyes, no other perlimpinpin!
A 270g jar is equivalent to about 2.5 classic cans. It can be closed and can be kept for 1 month after opening in the refrigerator.
